How would you like to see former Packers Guard Josh Sitton back in Green Bay? After being released by the Packers shortly before the 2016 season Sitton signed with the Bears. Heading into the offseason the Bears have a Team option to keep Sitton through the 2018 season. While it is unlikely they decline the option it is certainly a possibility for a team in rebuild mode as Sitton is currently 32 with a contract worth $8M this year. Even if they do keep him he’d still be a free agent next season. While you may think Guard is not a worry for the Packers it is currently not a position of certainty. Jahri Evans is 34 with an uncertain future and the Packers might not have another starting caliber Guard on the roster just yet. While this is not super likely to happen this is a move I’d personally love to see that would come with a bittersweet reunion.
