Happy Female Founded Friday! 🙌✨ Every Friday this month, we'll be highlighting female-founded businesses we love 💕 We're kicking it off today with damgoodenglishmuffins (which are DAM good indeed 😉)! 🌈 Denise met her husband (and co-founder) Ross while studying Culinary Arts at Johnson and Wales University. They started their careers in the food service industry working as corporate cafeteria managers. After a friend shared his homemade English muffins with them, Ross declared that they were never going back to store bought English muffins. ☀ They started baking them at home, and gave them as gifts to our friends & family. After receiving positive feedback, we then thought, “How about an English muffin company?” One day in 2016, Denise & Ross were taking a walk discussing returning to their culinary roots, when they came upon a piece of trash on the sidewalk, which turned out to be a Thomas’ English Muffins box.
