Meet 2023 Doctor of Nursing Practice graduate Cordelia Cochran 👋🩺 “Thank you to my Ancestors for being my North Star when this journey was difficult and my loving, supportive family. This graduation is a win not only for me, but for everyone who has helped lift me up even before I applied to this program. From my grandparents who emigrated from Jamaica to the UK to my grandparents who lived in the U.S. and survived multiple wars as a military family. I am a product of their perseverance, kindness and strength. “My next step is to transition my role as a licensed mental health therapist into a psychiatric provider at a group private practice I have been working at. I also want to develop a residency program for new graduates in a few years so they can continue their learning and feel confident in their skills. I really love to teach!
