Temple Women’s Tennis earned its fifth win of the season in a 7-0 route against Siena on Friday afternoon. The Owls dominated in both double and singles action, dropping just a single set in the win. The win gave the Owls their first victory in the new Tennis Complex, which had its grand opening this morning. The win gives Temple its second shutout victory of the season at the midway point. The Owls also snap a three match losing streak, having been blanked twice in the last three matches. ”We had a couple of tough losses recently, so it’s always good to get a win on the board,” said director of tennis Jeff Brandes. “Part of it is travel, there’s a thing we always talk about called van-lag when you’ve been in the van a couple of hours so it’s a little tough to get going.” Temple will travel to New Jersey to face off against the New Jersey Institute of Technology on April 4, at 11 a.m. Read more at the link in our bio. 📝: @austin.boynes3 📸: @_jshover
