#HateCrimesAwarenessMonth is our chance to help steer young people away from violence and extremism, starting with education.
Hate crimes differ from other crimes — the victim’s race, religion, ethnicity, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability is the reason for the crime, and they can leave individuals and entire communities feeling terrorized, isolated and vulnerable.
It’s time for honest conversations and collective action to prevent hate-fueled violence. Together, we can #StopHate.
