The SPLC was honored to join officialzorafestival's ZORA! Festival of the Arts 🎨🌟 in #Eatonville, #Florida, this weekend to celebrate Eatonville's culture, heritage and legacy, being the childhood home of iconic author Zora Neale Hurston and one of the first all-Black municipalities in the U.S.❤️.
From exhibitions and academic conferences to concerts, family programming, and style-forward events, the festival connected Hurston’s legacy to America’s 250th anniversary.
