INTERVIEW: SCROLL LEFT 👈 ILLA J & MADUKES + DJ MASEO #Soulitude #Geneva #Switzerland #2017 #Photo Repost fatdaddych ・・・ Extra special, emotional, fonky, soulful and powerful night tonight to honour the great Jay Dee aka J Dilla in Geneva, thanks to o.ceez & djamilah aka Soulitude Urban Expressions. Geneva true soul crew got blessed with a great set from Lausanne band The Donuts, a fantastic set by illajyanceyboy and this interview, ably channelled by chuckiefresh101 that brought out some very intense emotional moments, like Ma Dukes talking about that time Jay Dee got harassed by the pigs and how she helped him channel that frustration and anger into the classic track that we now know. And also djmaseo paying respects to his friend. Awesome evening truly. If you misssd it, you missed it, but I am sure Soulitude will be offering you a chance to catch up on it on soulitudeevents.com Peace to all funk and hip-hop lovers. #hiphoplegends #Video Repost athenee4_geneve ・・・ soulitudeeve...
