On the way to India last year when I was trapped with nothing but my own brain for entertainment on one of our many flights, I dreamed up a custom bible that was, “quirky”.  
 My friend Jon from morningrebinds had recently started rebinding worn-out bibles and I wanted to support his business, but make it ✨extra✨  
 Over the coming months, I made a few different digital designs, got a few terrible leather samples, and scoured the world for the perfect bible that I could commit to for the rest of my life… it was a p r o c e s s.  
 Finally I found rainbowleather out in NY who was able to print my design on this genuine lambskin leather. 
 I found an Ultrathin ESV Bible that had all the little features I wanted.  
 Then Jon worked his magic by tirelessly sanding off the gold gilding. Dyed the edges light blue with a navy and gold speckling, added a gold ribbon, and bound it in my quirky but FUN floral printed leather.  
 It’s a work of art. I’m so grateful for talented and patient friend...
