When we covered the Jesus shrine above our fireplace last year I instantly regretted that we didn’t put a little family time capsule in the spot before we covered it with drywall. I didn’t want to regret that twice so tonight before I started to finally brick the fireplace and finish this project that I started 10 months ago, I decided to sharpie our unofficial family motto onto the wall. Faith Leads All Mighty Miracles. So much of this home feels like a miracle for us. I never want to forget everything that got us here. We’ve lived in this home for 19 months, longer than we’ve lived anywhere in our 10 years of marriage. I’m grateful for the mountains God moved to put us here, and the roots He grew to keep us here.
