15 Years Ago Today, February 27, 2001 Jay Dee debuted his first solo album "Welcome 2 Detroit". Welcome 2 Detroit bears the name "Jay Dee" as well as "J Dilla", and marks the first time Dilla (who up until that point was still known as Jay Dee) officially used the name J Dilla. This album also kicked off BBE's "Beat Generation" series (producer-driven albums). #Welcome2Detroit #JayDee #JDilla #BBEMusic bbemusic officialjdilla karriemriggins1 therealdwele franknitt therealdankeryharv313 bigtoneofmojoe ronnieeuro elzhi beejgordy
