As most of you know by now, I’m a huge advocate for mental health, and speaking up to raise awareness to end the stigma around something that affects so many people. Mental illnesses touch everyone whether it be you, a loved one, friend or child. Nationwide Children’s Hospital is one of America’s leaders in pediatric mental health and research and has launched the #OnOurSleeves movement to break stigmas, start important conversations, and raise much-needed funds for behavioral health research and care. I will be traveling to Columbus, Ohio at the end of the month to learn all about the amazing work nationwidekids is doing for pediatric mental health.
