Artwork by claudyjongstra, commissioned for our latest office project in New York. Claudy works from her biodynamic farm in Friesland, the Netherlands. At the heart of her work is a commitment to ecological justice, regenerative agriculture, and material integrity, evidenced by her biodynamic farm that nurtures Drenthe Heath sheep and heirloom dye plants. The plants reintroduce colour in our landscapes and enhance biodiversity. Each piece is hand dyed, carded and felted layer by layer into a single cloth. In a room where people gather to think, listen and decide together, the work brings a season of sunlight indoors: color grown from the land, held in wool, and there to inspire every conversation at the table.
