At 11 Hoyt, the architecture set the terms. Designed by Jeanne Gang of studiogang, the tower rises over Downtown Brooklyn behind a scalloped precast concrete facade, and every room had to work with that geometry. We designed with the building’s logic, shaping proportion and layout to the rhythm it established. We kept the pieces the client loved and layered in new ones. In the kitchen, a fluted oak island doubles as a bookshelf, and a custom television recedes into a matching oak panel. A round wood table is ringed by Gubi’s Beetle (gubiofficial) chairs beneath pendants we designed with Daniel Michalik (danielmichalik). In the primary bedroom, a sculptural headboard meets Wall & Deco’s Lithe wallpaper, and in the living room, a Gubi Wonder sofa opens to floor-to-ceiling views. #ReddymadeDesign #SuchiReddy #Brooklyn #InteriorDesign #ResidentialDesign
