Belonging, woven. How do we experience inclusion, and exclusion, in the spaces we move through? That question drove Suchi’s year as Artist in Residence at Colgate University, a year of real conversation with students, faculty, and staff, and the installation that followed: Bias and Belonging. Woven into a large-scale textile on a digital loom, the piece brings together abstracted forms, icons, and text, drawn directly from those conversations.
