Another Milan Design Week in the books. Five days of the most concentrated design energy anywhere. The week opened at 5vie — where our new rug Komorebi, designed for The Atelier Editions by atelierbowy / henzelstudio, was on view at Le Cavallerizze alongside Studio mo man tai's Re-campaign, which transformed recycled advertising banners into fifteen monumental portals. At Alcova, the Shakti Design Residency brought global designers and Indian craft ateliers together for the first time. The Triennale delivered Andrea Branzi by Toyo Ito: Continuous Present — fifty years of radical Italian design seen through a longtime collaborator's eyes.
