Poolside at the Cherokee Residence in Beverly Hills 🏊‍♂️ This hybrid prefab and site-built project was developed in collaboration with LivingHomes and PlantPrefab on a steeply sloping site overlooking the canyons. Inspired by mid-century modern aesthetics, the design seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor spaces with expansive decks and a private courtyard, all enclosed by high, wood-clad walls and clerestory windows for enhanced privacy. The Cherokee Residence embraces sustainable strategies, from passive cooling and solar energy to water conservation and native tree preservation. Its was honored with prestigious awards like the 2018 Architizer A+ Jury and Popular Choice Winner, the 2018 Global Architecture & Design Awards, and the 2018 Los Angeles Architecture Award of Excellence Collaboration with PlantPrefab Landscape by Fiore Design Photos by Simon Berlyn #CherokeeResidence #BeverlyHills #SustainableDesign #ModernArchitecture #PrefabConstruction #PassiveCooling #BeverlyHi...
