The entryway of this residence in Bedford NY begins with a customized doormat that has the inscription “Guilt Free Zone” written in the client’s own handwriting. The 11-foot-tall, 8-foot-wide copper repoussé front doors are embellished with an image of the tree of life.
Upon entering the house, a large tree branch light fixture anchors the entryway space, drawing on bucolic themes. The 17-foot-long, 12-foot-wide light was a collaboration with glass artist Jeff Zimmerman.
Reddymade collaborated with a range of top tier artists and artisans to create something very special for this client’s home.
The design is focused on the idea of melding the client’s extensive art collection and design into something that’s unified and offers continual moments of discovery.
