Because I felt like the “before the stage” deserved its moment, too! In making sure I show up and show y’all more of me, you must know that before anything important, I’m a ball of nerves and get REAL goofy😅🙈 And thankfully I was on this journey with makeway4dre, and got the last minute jitters out with her backstage! And how full-circle is it that we first shared a stage together through Zumba. And now, through tedxmemphis 🙌🏾🥹 I also had to attempt at reciprocating the outpouring of celebration to sunahmarieonly as she pours into me and the world DAILY! Just wait until you hear her talk! But, the moment I also had had to make sure I had was time alone to give thanks for the journey at hand and really ground myself before sharing a bit of my soul💫 And a FUN FACT: whenever I get happily nervous or ecstatic about something I’m doing . . . I gag! Idk what it is or where it came from recently. But just know if you give me some good news, I’m quite literally gagging 😅 I love y’...
