Dear tedxmemphis experience, After months of preparation, rewriting, memorizing a 9-minute talk, failing forward, nervousness and almost quitting this week (I know). . . I realized that the best way for me to show up was to first embody the message I had to share! Celebrating our Superpower into Joy was the theme of my talk, and helping others realize that what makes them special is what makes them powerful was the goal! Too many times we’re made to feel strange for our uniqueness. But our uniqueness is what makes us marvelously invaluable to this world! Sharing this topic, experiencing this moment, and looking out into the audience and seeing my parents, closest friends, and new framily did my heart some good, y’all!
