Just a week ago, I snuck away in the wee hours of the morning to Cartagena, Colombia for a much needed break. Although adventure, good food, and serving a look or two were involved, rest was the number one priority. As you already know, I LOVE what I do - everything about it! But, as demanding as my role is, I need to be just as demanding about pouring into myself so I can continue to give my best to you; but most important, to myself. So I booked a beautiful, plant-filled private home in the heart of San Diego - a luscious, artsy neighborhood in Cartagena - to read, lounge, swim, eat, soak, lounge again and stare into the star-filled skies.
