Over the latter part of summer, we got a chance to work on a beautiful home in a historic part of town, and the first space we transformed was the dining room . . . making it a dining parlor! Cue, Project #IntheGardens - remember it in our stories?! In creating the dining parlor, we wanted to design a space where the family and their guests would settle in to eat, listen to music, vibe out and have a craft cocktail, or two! From the “A Song for Mollie” wallpapered ceiling, to the velvet chairs and drapes, plush patterned rug, and the custom reeded bar, the dining parlor is a culturally layered space reminiscent of your favorite hotel lobby bar.
