As I do with my clients, I asked myself “What song embodies the feel of #CocinaIV?” This is a practice I implemented for clients so that they go beyond how they want a space to look, and are able to communicate how they want their space to FEEL! As a synesthete who experiences chromesthesia, I’m then able to allow music to communicate the colors, textures and patterns I use to design any given space. I consider it my superpower - we all have one 🫶🏾 For me, this song - Montara - communicates the warm stillness of morning, the moonlit imagination of night, and the glimmer of light of the sun as it greets you at dawn, and bids you adieu at dusk. This is how I create from the heart, to provide joy in each space touched. And I can say that I’ve now done so - truly - for myself. Feliz Monday, y’all!
