For about the last year-and-a-half, I’ve been on the search for a new dining table. Because of the awkward shape and size of the room, I knew I wanted something in a round or oblong shape, but slightly larger. The RIGHT table, however, had not yet appeared . . .
. . . until a friend texted me this vintage, mid-century modern beauty!
Although I designed a whoooole office for this, I still love working at the table 🙈- which requires surface space to lay out samples and renderings. And for those dinner parties that sometimes grow in guest list, having the right table is key.
From the carved wood detailing in the table, to the newly reupholstered yellow - my color - velvet chairs, this vintage dining set has completely stolen my heart. And even with the two-leaf extension, I have more than enough space to entertain guests without the room feeling crowded 💁🏾♂️
Do you see how this change warmed and brightened up the entire room?! Now, it feels more like the colorful and lush dining...
