The City of Memphis along with Police Chief C.J. Davis have filed a motion to dismiss the civil suit filed by Tyre Nichols’ mother and the family estate. Two months ago RowVaughn Wells stood along with attorney Ben Crump after filing this lawsuit against the City who “failed” to supervise and train police officers prior to Nichols' death. The document also claims police chief Cerelyn Davis was wrongfully hired by the city after she was allegedly part of Atlanta’s #REDDOG UNIT that would “ambush” and “aggressively” harass the community. However, C.J.
