The engine on this kart spent its life moving a Chevrolet sedan ๐Ÿ”ง ๐Ÿ It is the 4.1 liter inline six from the Chevrolet Opala, the first passenger car GM ever built in Brazil, produced from 1968 to 1992 with over a million units on the road. Its cast iron block earned a reputation for surviving almost anything, which turned it into the backbone of Brazil's tuning scene decades after the last Opala left the factory. Here that same block sits beside the driver on a kart chassis, fed by a single turbo. A standard kart engine displaces around 200cc. This one displaces 4,100. Over fifty years of Brazilian engine culture, balanced on four go-kart wheels. Love Technology? Follow Wealth ๐ŸŒŸ Media: karvet_bsb #gokart #opala #automotive #engineering #technology
