Big families still answer to math ๐งฎ๐จโ๐ฉโ๐งโ๐ฆ
In eastern Uganda, Musa Hasahya says the household he built across 12 marriages since 1972 has reached its limit: 102 children, 578 grandchildren, and notebooks to keep track of names. What began as pressure to expand the family now runs into food, school, housing, and the cost of running a family this large.
The striking part isnโt the headline number. Itโs how an older idea of status and lineage hits a hard limit once every child also means daily care, cash expenses, and coordination.
