Saudi land is opening, but only on state terms ππΈπ¦
Saudi Arabia has shifted from decades of tight foreign ownership limits to a controlled opening that lets non-Saudis buy land in government-approved zones. That makes this less an open market and more a managed expansion of who gets to participate.
The real shift is in the structure. Property access is widening, but the government still decides where foreign demand can flow and where it cannot.
When a country opens its land market selectively, it can attract outside money without giving up control.
