So I took a sushi-making class at one of my favorite spots—Tigerlily Ferndale—and let’s just say, I may not be a sushi artist… but I’m definitely a sushi enthusiast. THIS IS SO FUN! Held inside the vibey Mai Tiki bar, the class included food tastings, sake flights, and a whole lot of me pretending I knew what I was doing. Shoutout to Chef Ivan for making it all look easy—because it’s not. Was my sushi the prettiest? No. Was it delicious? ABSOLUTELY.
