As the largest of the 10 UC campuses geographically, the ucdavisfire’s responsibility is to support all of UC Davis with a comprehensive mix of emergency and non-emergency response services. In addition to only being one of the few fire departments part of universities within the United States, the UCDFD’s commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion knows no bounds. In the country, Station 34 has some of the highest rates of women’s employment at a fire department, and for #WomensHistoryMonth, a few of their personnel reflect and touch on their experiences.
