The name “Happy Landing” came from my grandpa, who used to tell us stories about U.S. paratroopers wishing each other a “happy landing” before jumping out of planes. Our family land was aptly named “Happy Landing” as a place for our family to celebrate Independence Day. This is the place where I first learned to play music and perform in front of family and friends. The band had a chance to come out to “the clubhouse” (our old cabin) at Happy Landing in 2022 to write our EP “Up All Night”. We always like to say we are a truly “American band” — we love to write about our country’s beautiful landscape (and yes, we love using state’s names). We are so happy to share HAPPY LANDING with all of y’all across the country and across the world, and we feel so lucky to get to do what we love!
