We are proud sponsors of conserveturtles, which is working hard to research and rescue Sea Turtles. Read more about the inspiring story of Maisy, who was rescued last year. ・・・ Meet Maisy! Maisy, a very special sea turtle, was rescued off of Summerland Key last year on 4th of July where she was found covered in tumors. Maisy did not look like the other turtles — she had characteristics of both a hawksbill and a green sea turtle. DNA testing confirmed Maisy is a rare hawksbill/green sea turtle! Maisy was treated at marathonturtlehospital for fibropapillomatosis tumors and a severe case of pneumonia. Today, she was fit with a small transmitter satellite tag and returned to her ocean home off of Sombrero Beach in the heart of the Florida Keys! Stay tuned for a link to her tracking map and follow her as part of the Tour de Turtles! #seaturtleconservancy #seaturtles #carolinaskiff #repost conserveturtles
