✨For Your GRAMMY® Consideration✨ Best Choral Performance Recorded live at Orchestra Hall in Detroit, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Jader Bignamini's new recording of Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana," is on the GRAMMY® ballot in the category of Best Choral Performance. This Pentatone release features soprano Chen Reiss, countertenor Reginald Mobley, and baritone Andrzej Filończyk alongside Detroit-based vocal ensemble Audivi and the Detroit Opera Youth Chorus. "Orff’s masterwork is hardly under-conducted, but this new Pentatone version from Detroit, conducted by Jader Bignamini, has both space and power.”
