There is over 46,000 farms here in Michigan that produce more than 300 agricultural products. I recently spent an evening with the Michigan Ag Council to learn about the vast amount of products grown by family owned farms here in Michigan. This event took place at Carpenter Farms and focused in on Soybean, Pork and Corn. I found it so interesting to learn that 1.96 billion pounds of corn is processed into spirits.
