I have to take care of me, or it will all fall apart🫶. There’s no “Sincerely Darc” without my a healthy mind, physical wellness, enough sleep, a full tummy. I have to take of me before I can take care of anyone else. For the longest time I’d put everyone in the world before me. Even the people that absolutely drained me and made me feel worthless. But how is that fair? How can I pour into others if I’m not even half way full of water? It’s not effective. It’s draining. It’s exhausting. I don’t want to be that me anymore. I want to care for myself as IF I was caring for someone else. Because we only get one body & we have to take care of it.
