I used to think my sleep was "good enough"... I thought sleeping 6-7 hours and waking up "okay" meant my sleep was fine.
Now, into my 40s with three kids, multiple companies, and a really FULL life, Iโm realizing that good quality sleep (and enough of it) is really important.
The10-3-2-1-0 Rule helped me pay attention to my sleep habits which in turn positively impacted them.
So, I want to share this idea with you!
Here is the concept behind the 10-3-2-1-0 Rule:
๐ 10 hours - Cut off all caffeine (yes, even that afternoon coffee can still be in your systemt at bedtime)
๐ 3 hours - Stopped eating and drinking before bed (no more late-night snacking)
๐ 2 hours - Shut down all work and stressful activities
๐ 1 hour - Screens off completely (this was the hardest one!)
๐ 0 - Zero snooze buttons the next morning (okay, no this was the hardest one ๐)
The results really surprised me:
My sleep actually became restorative instead of just "rest."
My energy was steady all day instead ...
