Did you know the Belle Isle Aquarium is 120 years old as of today? It’s the oldest aquarium in the country! It’s also one of Detroit’s architectural gems. It looks like something from Harry Potter’s world. It was designed by late great Albert Kahn. I went there for the first time in a long time last week, and was shocked at the variety of wildlife they have there now… All kinds of fish from around the world, and some extra creepy fish from the Detroit River 😂. Anyways this place is FREE, fun for all ages, and a good spot for dates judging by all the couples I saw there.
