Built almost a century ago by the legendary Architect Albert Kahn, the Detroit Harbor terminal (Boblo docks) were used as storage for a city that was once the greatest in America. After many decades, bankruptcy, and many more horrible circumstances much of the city was left abandoned. This caused historic locations like Boblo docks to spiral into decades of ruin and decay. Visited only by graffiti artists, scrappers, and explorers, these structures are often forgotten until they are revitalized, or worse- demolished. I used to force myself to understand that abandoned places are an eyesore to most people, but I feel I’m being disingenuous because of all the cool memories I have with them. Not to mention they are a part of history no empty field or parking lot could ever replace. I did these 3D animations as quick as possible for my full length episode of OUT EXPLORING- Boblo docks. It’s out now on my YT channel if you want to watch! ❤️‍🔥 #detroit #asdetroitsown #urbex #urbexpeople #u...
