Red and blue fireworks glittered across the night sky to the climax of Tchaikovsky’s “1812 Overture” on Tuesday while canons boomed and church bells rang, painting an all-American scene at Greenfield Village’s annual “Salute to America” show. For more than 30 years now, Greenfield Village’s “Salute to America” has drawn thousands of people from across Michigan and the U.S. to catch a glimpse of the iconic firework display, while enjoying the traditional American-themed backdrop and historic musical performers lining the streets. The event runs through Friday. See more videos and images of the firework show and the experience at the link in bio!
