Barb’s Maurice from karlsdetroit is👌🏼⁣ Read on... .⁣ There’s a bit of dispute as to where the famous Maurice Salad originated. Obviously, I’m partial to it originating here in Detroit at the legendary J.L. Hudson Department store; one of the world’s tallest department stores of that time⁣ .⁣ The key to the Maurice Salad is all in the dressing. A lemony-mayo dressing coating each piece of lettuce, ham, turkey, cheese and don’t forget those sweet Gherkins and olives⁣ .⁣ Even though Hudson’s is now gone, the legacy of this salad lives on through many Detroit Metro restaurants and they have ALL been pretty fantastic!
