Happy World Porcupine Day! 🦔🌿 Today, we celebrate the South American prehensile-tailed porcupine, a unique and often-overlooked species that plays a critical role in our tropical forests. These arboreal wonders are nature’s pruners, helping shape forest ecosystems by dispersing seeds and maintaining plant diversity. Their presence is a sign of a healthy, thriving forest, but they face growing threats from habitat loss, hunting, and climate change.
