Ever lost your job? Yeah, me too 🙋🏾‍♀️ 11 years ago today, I lost a job I’d only had for three months. I’d left a pretty comfortable benefitted position to take it. It was a risk! Some pay off, some don’t. This picture always cracks me up. I left with my chair, this chair. Because I had to order my own when I started, so I wasn’t leaving it behind. And at that moment, I had a choice to make: Scramble for the next thing or use my professional know-how and bet on the thing I’d been building on the side. 💄🦒❤️ I bet on me.
