Let’s Summer Spritz - Part 3: Hugo Spritz! This cocktail is the perfect mix of light and floral, just like a breezy summer day. 🌿✨
The Hugo Spritz, originating from Northern Italy, is known for its refreshing elderflower flavor and aromatic herbs. It’s the ultimate summer aperitif, bringing a touch of sophistication to your spritz lineup. There are a few variations of this cocktail, but this is my go-to. Let’s get started!
Ingredients:
- 1.5 oz elderflower liqueur
- 4 oz Prosecco
- 1 oz of soda water
- Fresh mint leaves
- Lime slices
- Ice
Instructions:
1. Fill a glass with ice along with lime and mint leaves.
2. Pour in the elderflower syrup.
3. Add the Prosecco
4. Top it off with a splash of soda water.
5. Stir gently, garnish with a fresh mint sprig + a slice of lime for that perfect herbal touch.
If you want yours a bit sweeter, add a half ounce more of the liqueur. I used stgermaindrinks.
