Tonight’s pick is a langetwins red, their 2018 Nero D’Avola. Nero d’Avola is Sicily’s most planted red grape but the grapes do particularly well in California and they thrive in a few counties, Lodi included. LangeTwins knocked it out of the park. 
📝TASTING NOTES: I was immediately hit with raspberry and spice on the nose, which carried through with a bright berry finish. I wish someone witnessed my “Oh yeah, that’s raspberry” exclamation after I enjoyed a sip. The first whiff in the glass made me want a raspberry chocolate from gingerelizabeth to pair it with. 🍽 ENJOY IT WITH: Pizza (like my cheese cauliflower crust tonight), a pot roast, or lamb (from lollipops to meatballs).
