Happy Friday + #GlobalChampagneDay! 🍾🥂🍾🥂🍾AS IF WE NEEDED AN EXCUSE TO POP BOTTLES!! You know what’s going down over here now - just look on stories. And this is not to be confused with National Champagne Day…which is actually New Year’s Eve. 😉 Do you know the difference between Champagne and sparkling wine? Champagne can only be called Champagne if it comes from the Champagne region in northern France. Otherwise, it’s sparkling wine and can be named for its region. Did you know that when you take off the cage (or, muselet) from the top of bottle to open it, that it takes just six turns? Count when you open your next bottle. It makes it fun! Do you know how long a bottle can last in the fridge once that cork is popped? About 3 days with a proper seal/stopper (you can’t use the same stopper as a regular bottle of wine). Unless you sabre it, and then you’ve got one shot. 😜
Those are just a few fun bubbly facts for you to enjoy as you enter the weekend. Any other champs lov...
