Visiting Mauritson Wines: The third and last stop on my birthday 🍷 trip to Dry Creek Valley was mauritsonwines! They were a new-to-me winery, but came highly recommended by friends, especially those that enjoy reds! Also located on Dry Creek Valley Road, it was minutes from our previous stop and we were able to enjoy golden hour at its finest! It was the perfect conclusion to a beautiful day! About Mauritson: Winemaking may have been the logical evolution in the Mauritson family’s long history of farming in the Dry Creek Valley, but it was over a century until the winery was founded by Clay Mauritson and him getting back to the same vineyards he spent planting, tending and picking as a teen.
