If there’s one thing I’ve learned about the first day of school, it’s that the little things can make a BIG difference 🤍 I love turning breakfast into a little celebration. I get up early, set everything up before the kids wake up and give them lots of options so they can grab whatever sounds good that morning. Donuts, cereal, pancakes, fresh fruit, chocolate milk… basically a breakfast buffet because I’m not above bribing them with chocolate milk on a nervous morning 😂 And the best part? It gives us a little extra time to slow down, take pictures, talk about the day ahead and make the first morning feel exciting instead of rushed.
