Say hello to the new us! In April this year, we invited our audiences and supporters to #GrowWithJOY. This theme was chosen to reflect JOY’s growth and development, leading us to this point in time, where we are now ready to announce an important change to our name –JOY Media. Since our origins in community radio , our 29 year history has expanded from radio to podcasts, news, training, live events and more. JOY Media represents the people, stories, news, music, and lived experiences of Australia's LGBTIQA+ community and our allies. Underneath JOY Media, sits three sub brands representing our content, services and training. These are JOY 94.9, JOY Academy and JOY Gigs.
