Instant re-post from drlincolnharris 😉 🦷 Simple right? Even with simple treatments there are so many details that with experience, happen automatically. Training helps you to deal with problems as they arrive. Experience helps you deal with problems before they arrive. Little things like knowing that you are going to cap the cusps, so just do it before you remove the restoration. Then the restoration's surface helps you get your reduction deep enough. It's also easier to remove restorations with the cusps gone because your access and vision is better. Or using a Tofflemire here. The margin was accessible, but deep. A sectional matrix would not seal without a wedge, and the wedge would collapse the shape of the sectional matrix. So a Tofflemire will give a good seal, but bad shape. You can correct the shape with a disk quickly if you do it before you place the ceramics. #ripeglobal #frd #fellowshiprestorativedentistry #prosthodontics #restorativedentis...
