“I became an active member of the Communications Workers of America (CWA), Local 6300, in 1967; when I starting working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company, which later became AT&T. I was with the company for 28 years, before retirement. I started working for the United States Postal Service (USPS) in 1996; and joined the American Postal Workers Union, AFL-CIO (APWU). I retired from the job in 2007. Still a member in good standing and active member of APWU Retirees unit. Belong to the St. Louis Gateway District Area Local.” - My aunt, Joyce Hamilton. Dear American workers, Today we celebrate your strength and dedication. We know that without you this country would not be anything like the country it is. We will continue to fight for you and your rights on today, and beyond. #HappyLaborDay ❤️ #laborday #americanworkers #fightforyourrights #usa #holiday #uplift #jasminefor100 #dfw #dallas #texas
