Legendary college basketball announcer Dick Vitale revealed that he's been diagnosed with vocal cord cancer. It marks his third bout with cancer in two years after Vitale previously battled melanoma and lymphoma. He was declared cancer free in August 2022, but doctors recently advised Vitale to undergo vocal cord surgery after "past issues" returned. "The tests on the tissues they removed showed that I have vocal cord cancer and will need 6 weeks of radiation to treat it," the 84-year-old announced.
